Raptors 905 vs. Capital City
Raptors Look to Extend Dominant Run in Rematch With Go-Go
WASHINGTON (Interstat) — The NBA G League’s top team visits the nation’s capital Saturday as the surging Raptors 905 face the Capital City Go-Go in a rematch at CareFirst Arena.
The Raptors (24-2), the affiliate of the Toronto Raptors, bring a historic pace to Washington, D.C., having won 12 of their last 13 games. Their only two losses this season came against San Diego on Jan. 2 and Salt Lake City on Dec. 22. They defeated the Go-Go 115-104 just two days prior on Thursday behind a powerful double-double from center Olivier Sarr, who scored 24 points and grabbed 14 rebounds.
Capital City (11-12), the Washington Wizards’ affiliate, has lost two straight, including that home defeat to the Raptors and a 104-101 loss to Long Island on Wednesday. The Go-Go have shown offensive firepower, however, scoring over 120 points in three of their last six contests.
The matchup hinges on a compelling individual duel. Sarr has been a force for the Raptors, averaging a double-double over his last 10 games and coming off a 24-point, 14-rebound performance against Capital City. For the Go-Go, guard Alondes Williams is the primary catalyst. He poured in 30 points with 5 assists in Thursday’s loss to the Raptors and is averaging 24 points over his last two outings.
The season series favors the Raptors 3-0, including a 124-120 victory on Dec. 5. In those three games, the Raptors have averaged 120.7 points per game.
Capital City will look to leverage home court and find an answer for Sarr’s interior dominance to avoid a season sweep. The Raptors aim to continue their league-best record before embarking on a four-game road trip later this month.
Tip-off is set for 7 p.m. EST on Saturday, Jan. 17, 2026.
