UNIONDALE, N.Y. (Interstat) — Victor Oladipo scored 25 points to lead the Wisconsin Herd to a 108-101 victory over the Long Island Nets in the G League on Thursday night at Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum.

The Herd used a 31-point second quarter to build a cushion and held off multiple rallies. Oladipo added six assists. Cormac Ryan scored 23 points for Wisconsin, which improved to 7-14.

Jeenathan Williams led Long Island with 23 points. Malachi Smith had 19 points and nine assists for the Nets, who fell to 10-11 despite shooting 11 for 35 from 3-point range. Wisconsin shot 14 for 26 from beyond the arc.

The teams meet again at the same venue Friday night.
