Long Island Holds Off Westchester Rally in High-Scoring G League Affair

WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. (Interstat) — The Long Island Nets defeated the Westchester Knicks 110-103 in a G League game Friday night at Westchester County Center. Long Island built a commanding 29-point first-quarter lead but endured a persistent Westchester comeback attempt across the final three periods.

The Nets’ hot shooting, particularly from beyond the arc where they made 18 3-pointers, proved decisive. Jayden Scrubb led Long Island with 20 points. Westchester was paced by Nick Jourdain’s 25 points and 14 rebounds and Dink Pate’s 26 points. The Knicks, who outrebounded Long Island 48-34, fell to 1-11 on the season while the Nets evened their record at 7-7.
