MEXICO CITY (Interstat) — The Mexico City Capitanes used a dominant third quarter to defeat the Birmingham Squadron 115-102 in a G League game on Monday. After trailing by five at halftime, the Capitanes outscored the Squadron 39-34 in the third period to seize control at Estadio Azteca. Josh Oduro led Birmingham with 17 points, while Christian Shumate added 20. For Mexico City, Wade Taylor dished out nine assists and Andersson Garcia grabbed 14 rebounds. The Capitanes improved to 3-3, while the Squadron fell to 2-5.
