NOBLESVILLE, Ind. (Interstat) — The Motor City Cruise and Noblesville Boom will meet for the second consecutive afternoon Sunday at the Arena at Innovation Mile, looking for a decisive outcome after a rare 70-70 tie in their G League matchup on Saturday.

Motor City (2-3) enters with momentum from a 122-117 road victory over Grand Rapids on Nov. 16. Brice Williams led the Cruise with 41 points in that win, supported by Tolu Smith’s 24 points and seven rebounds and Jaden Akins’ near triple-double of 21 points, eight rebounds and 10 assists.

The Boom (0-6) remain in search of their first win of the season after a 133-120 loss at Iowa on Monday. M.J. Iraldi, R.J. Felton and Gabe McGlothan have been consistent producers for the struggling Noblesville squad.

Sunday’s contest offers the Cruise an opportunity to climb above .500, while the desperate Boom will look to capitalize on home court to break into the win column. The teams will not meet again this season after this two-game set.
