Delaware vs. Maine
PORTLAND, Maine (Interstat) — The Delaware Blue Coats and Maine Celtics will complete a quick-turnaround back-to-back Sunday at the Portland Exposition Building, just two days after Delaware escaped with a 111-109 victory on the same floor.
The G League matchup features two Eastern Conference teams looking to build momentum from their most recent outings. Delaware (1-2) earned its first win of the season in Friday’s narrow contest against Maine. The Blue Coats’ offense, however, has been inconsistent, following a 145-129 home loss to Greensboro on Nov. 15 where Johni Broome (26 points, 10 rebounds) and Kennedy Chandler (23 points, 8 assists) led the way.
Maine (2-3) aims to rebound on its home court after splitting a two-game set with Long Island. The Celtics are coming off a 127-116 win over the Nets on Saturday, powered by a 31-point performance from Ron Harper. Kendall Brown added 24 points and seven rebounds in the victory.
The Celtics’ season has been marked by high-scoring affairs, including two overtime losses to Greensboro to open the year. Sunday’s game will be the final meeting between the teams in the regular season.
