LEANDER, Texas (Interstat) — A battle of early-season G League unbeatens will see the Austin Spurs (4-0) host the Osceola Magic (4-1) on Thursday at H-E-B Center at Cedar Park.

The Spurs are one of the league’s remaining undefeated teams, coming off a 125-111 road victory over the Memphis Hustle on Sunday. Jamaree Bouyea led the way with 21 points and five rebounds, while Kyle Mangas added 22 points.

Austin’s defense was stifling in its most recent meeting with Osceola, holding the Magic to just 39 points in a 46-39 win on Wednesday. The teams are set for a quick rematch.

Osceola’s only loss prior to Wednesday’s low-scoring affair was a 122-118 defeat to the Birmingham Squadron on Sunday. Despite the loss, Colin Castleton posted a strong double-double with 21 points and 13 rebounds, and Lester Quinones scored a team-high 24 points.

The Magic’s offense has been potent this season, averaging over 127 points per game in their four victories, including a 144-point outburst against the Texas Legends on Nov. 8.

Following Thursday’s contest, Austin will host the Rio Grande Valley Vipers on Sunday. Osceola’s next game is on the road against the Rio Grande Valley Vipers on Nov. 29.
