KISSIMMEE, Fla. (Interstat) — A clash of early-season opposites is set for the G League on Thursday when the winless Mexico City Capitanes visit the undefeated Osceola Magic at Silver Spurs Arena.

The Capitanes (0-2) are searching for their first victory after dropping a pair of road games to the Memphis Hustle last weekend. In their most recent outing, a 109-103 loss on Nov. 9, Mexico City was led by L.J. Figueroa, who scored 18 points and grabbed nine rebounds. R.J. Melendez added a team-high 23 points.

They face a formidable challenge in the Magic (2-0), who have opened their season with a pair of dominant home victories over the Texas Legends. Osceola is coming off a 144-112 rout on Nov. 8, fueled by a 25-point, 13-rebound double-double from center Orlando Robinson. Fellow big man Colin Castleton also scored 25 points in the win.

The game will be the front end of a back-to-back homestand for Osceola, which hosts Birmingham on Friday. Mexico City continues its road trip before returning home to face Oklahoma City on Sunday.
