Rip City vs. Santa Cruz

BONNY DOON, Calif. (Interstat) — The Rip City Remix and Santa Cruz Warriors will open their 2025-26 G League seasons Friday at Kaiser Permanente Arena, a rematch of last season’s regular-season finale.

Both teams enter the contest with 0-0 records, looking to start the new campaign on a high note. The game will be the first of a two-game weekend series, with the teams meeting again on Saturday.

The Warriors won the most recent matchup between the clubs, defeating the Remix 119-103 on March 29, 2025. Santa Cruz is also looking to bounce back from a 131-127 home loss to the Valley Suns in its final game of the previous season on April 1.

The contest will tip off a challenging early schedule for the Remix, who will play eight of their next 10 games on the road. Following the back-to-back in Santa Cruz, Rip City embarks on a four-game trip through Valley, South Bay and San Diego.

The Warriors’ early slate is more balanced, with Friday’s game starting a brief two-game homestand before they hit the road for a single game at Salt Lake City. They will then return home for a pair of games against Stockton.

The season-opening matchup is scheduled for a 7 p.m. PST tipoff on Friday, November 7.
