Magic Overpower Legends in High-Scoring G League Season Opener

KISSIMMEE, Fla. (Interstat) — The Osceola Magic opened their season with a decisive 134-113 victory over the Texas Legends in a G League contest Friday night at Silver Spurs Arena. Osceola established a commanding lead early, outscoring Texas 77-56 by halftime behind a dominant first-half offensive performance.

Colin Castleton led the Magic with 27 points and 13 rebounds. Lester Quinones added 25 points. Miles Kelly scored 26 points for the Legends in the loss. Osceola’s efficient offense, which shot 52% from the floor, proved too much for Texas to overcome as the Magic improved to 1-0. The Legends start their season 0-1. The two teams are scheduled to play again Saturday.
