WALKER, Mich. (Interstat) — The Sioux Falls Skyforce and Motor City Cruise will open their 2025-26 NBA G League seasons Friday at DeltaPlex Arena.

Both teams enter the contest with 0-0 records. The game marks the first official action for the affiliates of the Miami Heat and Detroit Pistons since the conclusion of the 2024-25 campaign.

In their final games last season, played on March 29, the two teams had contrasting results. The Skyforce fell 119-112 to the Oklahoma City Blue, while the Cruise closed their season with a 120-113 victory over the Windy City Bulls.

Friday’s matchup will be the first of a two-game set between the clubs, with a rematch scheduled for Saturday night at the same venue. For Sioux Falls, the back-to-back in Michigan begins a challenging early stretch that includes 10 games in November, seven of which are on the road.

Motor City’s season-opening homestand continues with a game against the Cleveland Charge on Nov. 12 before the Cruise embark on a three-game road trip.

The game is scheduled for a 7 p.m. EST tipoff.
