UNIONDALE, N.Y. (Interstat) — The Long Island Nets defeated the Capital City Go-Go 109-102 in a G League contest Friday night at Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum. The Nets, now 1-0, built a steady lead by outscoring the Go-Go in every quarter. Capital City, which dropped to 0-1, mounted several rallies but could not close the gap in the final period. The two teams are scheduled for a rematch at the same venue on Sunday.
