KATWIJK AAN DEN RIJN, Netherlands (Interstat) — Yassin Kaabouni scored in second-half stoppage time Wednesday, giving Rijnvogels a 1-0 victory over SV DVS ’33 in a Derde Divisie match at Sportpark De Kooltuin.

Kaabouni found the net in the 92nd minute, breaking a scoreless deadlock. The goal lifted Rijnvogels, which improved to 19-8-6 in the competition. SV DVS ’33 fell to 10-8-6.

The match featured five yellow cards. Jesse Driebergen was booked in the 50th minute. Maxim van der Meer and Jarno Essen each received cautions in the 61st minute. Kasper Michel was carded in the 74th minute, and Nicky van Hilten in the 95th.

Rijnvogels entered the contest following a 3-0 loss to VV Sint Bavo on May 23. SV DVS ’33 had beaten Huizen 1-0 in its previous match. The teams are scheduled to play again Saturday, May 30, at SV DVS ’33.
