Posusje vs Sloga Doboj
PREMIJER ŽENSKA LIGA PREVIEW: POSUSJE HOSTS SLOGA DOBOJ
POSUSJE, Bosnia-Herzegovina (Interstat) — Posusje will look to snap a three-match winless streak against Sloga Doboj when the two sides meet Friday in a Premijer Ženska Liga clash at Stadion Mokri Dolac.
The home team enters the match with a 0-0 draw at Zrinjski on May 16, its third consecutive result without a win. Posusje has not beaten Sloga Doboj since a 2-1 victory in their first meeting of the 2023 season, though the two sides played to a 2-2 draw in December.
Sloga Doboj, meanwhile, is coming off a scoreless draw at Radnik Bijeljina on May 16, ending a two-match losing streak. The visitors have struggled for consistency, with two wins, two draws and six losses in their last 10 league matches.
In the most recent head-to-head meeting March 21, Sloga Doboj earned a 1-0 home victory. That result continued the visitors’ dominance in the series. Over the past three meetings, Sloga Doboj has won twice and drawn once. Posusje’s last win against Sloga Doboj came in September 2024.
Posusje’s recent form has been uneven. After a 2-1 win at Siroki Brijeg on April 10, the team lost to ZBorac Banja 3-0 and drew with Radnik Bijeljina and FK Velež Mostar before the scoreless stalemate with Zrinjski.
Sloga Doboj’s form includes a 2-0 win at Siroki Brijeg on May 2, but losses to Željezničar (3-0) and Borac Banja (3-1), plus a 4-0 defeat at FK Sarajevo.
The simulator from Interstat projects a 1-0 victory for Posusje, though the computer model also correctly predicted Sloga Doboj’s 1-0 win in March.
Both teams sit in the lower half of the 14-team table. A victory for Posusje could lift the home side into mid-table, while Sloga Doboj looks to build on its recent defensive improvement — two clean sheets in the last four matches.
Kickoff is at 4:30 p.m. local time. The match is the final league fixture before a two-week break for international duty.
