HONG KONG (Interstat) — Ruslan Mingazow and Yu Ōkubo each scored twice as Kitchee and Eastern played to a 4-4 draw Sunday at Tseung Kwan O Sports Ground in a Hong Kong Premier League match.

Mingazow opened the scoring in the seventh minute, then Ōkubo equalized in the 24th. Mingazow restored Kitchee’s lead a minute later. Gondra made it 3-1 for the hosts in the 36th minute before Ōkubo again pulled Eastern within one just before halftime.

Martín Merquelanz leveled the match for Eastern in the 73rd minute. Revi put Kitchee back in front in the 80th minute, but Ōkubo completed his hat trick in the fifth minute of stoppage time to secure the draw.

Kitchee’s league record is 16 wins, no losses and four draws; overall across all competitions, the club stands at 16 wins, one loss and four draws. Eastern improved to seven wins, seven losses and five draws in league play, and eight wins, seven losses and five draws overall. The teams split their previous two meetings this season, with Kitchee winning both by a combined 3-1 margin.
