HADERSLEV, Denmark (Interstat) — Edward Chilufya scored in the 24th minute for Sonderjyske, but Matthew Hoppe equalized in the 40th and Daníel Leó Grétarsson netted the winner in the 49th as Midtjylland W won 2-1 on Thursday at Sydbank Park.

Midtjylland W improved to 12-3-6 in Superliga action; Sonderjyske is 8-7-6. In all competitions, Midtjylland W is 27-9-11 while Sonderjyske is 14-12-8.

Assists came from substitutes Mikel Krüger-Johnsen, Philip Billing, Kevin Mbabu and Lee Hanbeom. Yellow cards were shown to Hoppe, Lee, Billing, Krüger-Johnsen and Mbabu.

Interstat’s game simulator had projected a 2-1 Midtjylland W victory, though its ELO system gave Sonderjyske a 66.70 percent probability to win.
