AMADORA, Portugal (Interstat) — Porto extended its dominant Primeira Liga campaign Sunday, defeating Estrela Amadora 2-1 at Estádio José Gomes.

Deniz Gül scored in the 37th minute and Jovane Cabral added the winner in the 79th. Gül, a substitute, finished with two goals and one assist. Terem Moffi, Diogo Costa and Stefan Leković each contributed an assist.

Porto improved to 24-1-3 in league play and 28-2-3 across all competitions. Estrela Amadora fell to 6-12-6 in the league and 6-13-6 overall.

Yellow cards were issued to Kevin Höög-Jansson in the 15th minute, Gül in the 24th, Moffi in the 82nd, Leković in the 86th, Sydney van Hooijdonk in the 89th and Costa in second-half stoppage time.

Porto entered having won its previous league match 2-0 against Tondela. Estrela Amadora had lost 1-0 at Arouca in its last outing. The teams last met Dec. 15, 2025, a 3-1 Porto victory. Porto next hosts Alverca on May 2, while Estrela Amadora visits Moreirense the same day.
