LISBON, Portugal (Interstat) — Porto travels to Estrela Amadora on Sunday, April 26, in a Primeira Liga matchup that pits a title contender against a side fighting to climb the standings.

Porto enters the match at Estádio José Gomes as the clear favorite. The Dragons beat Tondela 2-0 on April 19, extending their unbeaten run in league play to nine matches (6-3-0) since a 1-0 loss to Sporting CP on March 3. During that stretch, Porto has outscored opponents 16-6, with wins over Estoril (3-1), Sporting Braga (2-1) and Moreirense (3-0). Draws against Famalicao (2-2) and Benfica (2-2) represent the only blemishes.

Estrela Amadora, meanwhile, has lost four of its past five matches. The most recent was a 1-0 defeat at Arouca on April 19. The club’s only victory in that stretch came March 20, a 4-0 rout of Casa Pia. In the other games, Estrela Amadora fell to Sporting Lisbon (1-0), Nacional (2-0) and Rio Ave (2-1) and drew 0-0 with AVS Futebol. The team has scored just two goals in its last five outings.

The teams met Dec. 15, when Porto won 3-1 at home. Porto has not lost to Estrela Amadora in recent meetings.

Porto next hosts Alverca on May 2. Estrela Amadora travels to Moreirense on the same day.
