AC Carpi vs FC Forli

CARPI, Italy (Interstat) — Two struggling Serie C sides will look to halt concerning slides when AC Carpi hosts FC Forli on Saturday.

The matchup at Stadio Sandro Cabassi pits teams desperate for points as the Italian third division’s season enters its decisive final months. Neither club has found consistent form in 2026.

Carpi (1-4-5 in last 10 matches) is reeling from a 3-0 road defeat to Vis Pesaro on April 12. That loss extended a winless run in league play dating back to early October. Their last victory was a 3-1 triumph over AC Bra on Oct. 10, 2025. Since then, the squad has managed only two draws against eight losses, including heavy defeats to clubs like Ascoli (3-0) and Gubbio (3-0).

Forli (1-3-6 in last 10) arrives with its own burdens, having won just once since late February. That victory, a 2-0 result against Torres Calcio on Feb. 28, is a distant memory after a series of frustrating results. Most recently, Forli fell 2-1 at home to AC Bra on April 4. Their road form has been particularly poor, with the team failing to secure a win away from home in its last five attempts, conceding multiple goals in four of those contests.

The historical data points to a low-scoring, tense affair. Interstat’s game simulator projects a 1-1 draw. That scoreline would mirror Forli’s result against US Livorno in March and Carpi’s draw with Torres Calcio.

Forli will hope to exploit Carpi’s defensive vulnerabilities, having scored in three of their last five matches. Carpi, however, has been shut out in three of its last four outings and will be focused on jump-starting a stagnant attack in front of its home supporters.

Kickoff is set for 6 p.m. local time (1600 GMT) on April 18.
