ABOVYAN, Armenia (Interstat) — Noah began its First League campaign with a 2-0 victory over Yerevan on Sunday at Kotaik Stadium. The home side controlled the match from the outset, with forward Matheus Aiás opening the scoring in the 15th minute. Noah added a second-half goal to secure the win. The result defied a pregame projection by Interstat, whose simulator had predicted a 2-1 Noah win, though its ELO system gave Noah a 98.2% probability to win. With the loss, Yerevan starts its season 0-1, while Noah opens at 1-0.
