ARMENIA, Armenia (Interstat) — Alashkert defeated Ararat 2-0 on Tuesday in an Armenian Premier League match at Armavir City Stadium. Robert Hakobyan opened the scoring in the 44th minute, and Caio Henrique added a second goal in the 71st to secure the win for the hosts. The victory improves Alashkert’s league record to 10 wins, six losses and three draws this season, solidifying its position in the top half of the table. Ararat, which has now lost three straight, remains at the bottom with only one league win this campaign. The result reversed a recent trend in the fixture, as Ararat had won the previous two head-to-head meetings this season.
