AR-RIFĀ’, Bahrain (Interstat) — Al Hidd earned a 2-0 away victory over Budaiya in a Bahrain Premier League match Friday at Stād Al Bahrayn Al Watanī.

The visitors broke a scoreless deadlock in the 56th minute when Oussama Bellatrèche scored on a header. Jumai Jallow sealed the win for Al Hidd with a left-footed goal in the 89th minute.

The result improves Al Hidd’s league record to eight wins, five losses and three draws. Budaiya’s record in the competition falls to four wins, nine losses and three draws. Al Hidd avenged a 2-1 loss to Budaiya from their previous meeting on Oct. 31. The outcome defied a pregame projection from Interstat’s simulator, which had forecast a 1-1 draw.
