TRÍPOLI, Greece (Feb. 4, 2026) (Interstat) — Olympiakos SFP began its Super League 1 campaign with a commanding 3-0 road victory over Asteras Tripolis on Wednesday at Stadio Theodoros Kolokotronis.

Dani García opened the scoring just two minutes into the match. Mehdi Taremi doubled the lead in the 27th minute, and Gelson Martins sealed the result just before the hour mark in the 59th. The visitors’ defense held firm, as Asteras Tripolis failed to find a response.

The result exceeded the projection of Interstat’s game simulator, which had predicted a 2-0 Olympiakos win. Three players received yellow cards in the match: Asteras Tripolis’ Bruno Onyemaechi (19th minute) and José Castaño (53rd minute), and Olympiakos’ André Inácio (75th minute). Both clubs opened their league seasons with the result.
