CSÁKVÁR, Hungary (Interstat) — Karcagi SC earned a 2-1 road victory over Csakvari TK in NB II play on Saturday at Tersztyánszky Ödön Sportközpont.

Viktor Haragos put the visitors ahead in the ninth minute. Márton Radics doubled Karcagi SC’s lead just before halftime in the 44th. Csakvari TK answered quickly after the break with a 48th-minute goal from Shedrach Kaye, but could not find an equalizer.

The result avenged a 3-2 home loss to Csakvari TK from their prior meeting in October. Karcagi SC improved to 9-9-7 in the league, while Csakvari TK moved to 9-6-10. The outcome defied pre-match projections that heavily favored the home side.
