GVVV vs Barendrecht
GVVV Favored to Extend Home Streak Against Barendrecht
VEENENDAAL, Netherlands (Interstat) — GVVV will look to capitalize on home advantage and recent form when it hosts Barendrecht in a Tweede Divisie match on Saturday.
The fixture at Sportpark Panhuis is a rematch of an Aug. 16 encounter, which GVVV won 2-1 on the road. Statistical models heavily favor a repeat outcome. Interstat’s game simulator projects a 2-1 victory for the hosts, while its ELO rating system gives GVVV a 70.6% probability of winning.
GVVV (8-7-6) enters with momentum from a 2-1 home victory over Koninklijke UD Deventer on Feb. 7. Its form, however, has been inconsistent since the winter break, with a win, a draw and two losses in its last four league matches. The team has shown a potent attack at times, scoring three goals in three different games this season, but also suffered a 5-0 road defeat to VV Rijnsburgse Boys in January.
Barendrecht (8-3-10) seeks to rebound from a 1-0 road loss to Kozakken Boys on Feb. 7. That defeat snapped a three-game winning streak in league play that included a 4-1 victory over HHC Hardenberg and a 3-1 win at KVV Quick Boys. The team’s season has been marked by dramatic swings, featuring an 8-0 loss to Spakenburg in November but also a 4-2 win over VV Katwijk.
Key for the visitors will be shoring up a defense that has conceded four or more goals in three matches this campaign. GVVV will aim to exploit that vulnerability and improve its mid-table standing.
Following this match, GVVV faces a challenging trip to league power Spakenburg on Feb. 21. Barendrecht’s schedule continues with a home fixture against Amsterdamsche W on the same date.
Kickoff is scheduled for 4 p.m. local time (1500 GMT) on Saturday, Feb. 14, 2026.
