Heracles vs NAC Breda
HERACLES HOSTS NAC BREDA IN KEY EREDIVISIE CLASH
ALMELO, Netherlands (Interstat) — Heracles will host NAC Breda on Saturday in an Eredivisie matchup as both Dutch clubs seek consistency in the second half of the season.
The game at Erve Asito is scheduled for Feb. 14, 2026.
Heracles (6-8-7) enters the contest looking to rebound from a disappointing 4-1 road loss to NEC on Feb. 7. Prior to that, the Almelo side had shown flashes, including a 2-1 home victory over Fortuna Sittard on Feb. 1. Their attack has been potent at times, evidenced by a 4-2 win over Go Ahead Eagles in November and a narrow 4-3 loss to powerhouse PSV in December, but defensive frailties have been a recurring issue.
NAC Breda (3-10-8) arrives after a 2-0 home defeat to Excelsior on Feb. 6. The team from Breda has struggled for wins but has proven difficult to beat recently, earning draws against strong sides like Twente (2-2) and PSV (2-2) in late January. However, a lack of goals has been a persistent problem; NAC has been shut out in six of its last ten matches across all competitions.
The head-to-head history favors NAC Breda, which won the most recent meeting 2-1 at home on Sept. 20, 2025.
According to Interstat’s game simulator, Heracles is projected to win 2-1.
For Heracles, key players will need to step up after the defensive collapse against NEC. NAC Breda will look to find its scoring touch and tighten a defense that has conceded multiple goals in recent weeks.
Following this match, Heracles will travel to face Go Ahead Eagles on Feb. 22. NAC Breda will host Volendam on Feb. 21.
The Eredivisie match kicks off at 1800 local time (1700 GMT).
