KOCAELI, Turkiye (Interstat) — Substitute Ernest Muçi scored a stoppage-time winner to propel visiting Trabzonspor to a 2-1 victory over Kocaelispor in a Süper Lig match Sunday at Yıldız Entegre Kocaeli Stadyumu.

Bruno Petković gave Trabzonspor a 1-0 lead in the 18th minute. Kocaelispor equalized just before halftime with a 44th-minute goal from Felipe Augusto. The match appeared headed for a draw until Muçi, who also assisted on Petković’s opener, netted the decisive goal in the first minute of added time.

The result defied pre-match projections that heavily favored the home side. Trabzonspor begins its league campaign with a win, while Kocaelispor starts with a loss.
