THANYA BURI, Thailand (Interstat) — Ikhsan Fandi scored two early goals Sunday to lead BG Pathum United FC to a 2-1 victory over Sukhothai in a Thai League 1 match at BG Stadium.

The forward struck in the sixth and 23rd minutes, establishing a commanding lead. Sukhothai substitute Chaiyaphon Otton pulled one back in first-half stoppage time, but the visitors could not find an equalizer. The result avenged BG Pathum United’s 3-1 loss to Sukhothai in October.

The match featured five yellow cards, with Sukhothai’s Thiti Thumporn booked in the final moments. BG Pathum United improved its league record to 10 wins, four losses and four draws. Sukhothai fell to 6-8-7.
