Asteras Tripolis vs Atromitos

PREVIEW: ASTERAS TRIPOLIS HOSTS ATROMITOS IN GREEK SUPER LEAGUE CLASH

TRIPOLI, Greece (Interstat) — Asteras Tripolis will host Atromitos in a Greek Super League 1 match on Saturday, with both sides seeking momentum from a contest that has historically favored the home team.

The matchup at the Theodoros Kolokotronis Stadium is a quick turnaround for Asteras, which fell 3-1 to Mexican side Puebla in a friendly last Saturday. Its last league outing was a 2-0 defeat at Iraklis Elefsina on Feb. 14. The club’s form has been inconsistent, with just one win in its last five domestic fixtures — a 2-0 victory over Volos NFC on Feb. 7.

Atromitos enters with more recent league action, having drawn Panserraikos 2-2 on Monday. That result extended its unbeaten run in the league to three matches (1-2-0), following a 1-0 win at Kifisias on Feb. 7 and a scoreless draw with powerhouse PAOK on Jan. 25.

The head-to-head history provides a clear edge for Asteras Tripolis, which won the season’s earlier meeting 1-0 at Atromitos on Nov. 30. That result is part of a challenging pattern for Atromitos, which has managed just one win in its last 10 league games (1-5-4).

A statistical projection by Interstat forecasts a 1-1 draw for Saturday’s contest.

Atromitos will look to striker Danny Bejarano, who scored in the draw with Panserraikos, to spark its attack. Asteras will rely on its defensive organization at home, where it kept a clean sheet in the previous encounter between these sides.

The schedule offers little respite for either club. Asteras faces a congested fixture list, hosting Anagen Karditsas on Sunday before a trip to PAOK on March 1. Atromitos prepares to host Puebla next Saturday in its next scheduled match.

Kickoff is set for 7 p.m. local time (1700 GMT) on Saturday, Feb. 21, 2026.
