Pharco vs Telephonaat Beni
CAIRO (Interstat) — Pharco looks to rebound from a recent home defeat when it hosts Telephonaat Beni in an Egypt Cup match on Sunday, Nov. 30.
The matchup at Pharco Stadium comes just over a week after the club fell 2-0 to Ceramica Cleopatra on its own pitch. That result snapped a promising three-match winning streak in all competitions for Pharco, which had previously secured victories over Smouha, El Gouna and Ismaily.
Telephonaat Beni, based in Beni Suef, enters the contest following a lengthy break. Its last official match was a 3-1 defeat to Al Nasr Taa’den on Dec. 16, 2024.
Pharco’s form has been inconsistent this season, with the team struggling against the league’s top clubs. It has suffered heavy losses to powerhouses El Ahly SC and Zamalek SC, but has proven capable of grinding out results against mid-table opposition.
Looking ahead, Pharco faces a congested schedule with 10 matches across all competitions scheduled between Dec. 9 and Feb. 19, including a league rematch against Ceramica Cleopatra and a visit from El Ahly.
According to the Interstat game simulator, Sunday’s cup tie is projected to end in a 1-1 draw, which could force the match into extra time or penalties to determine which club advances.
