Central Cordoba vs Almagro

BUENOS AIRES, Argentina (Interstat) — Central Cordoba and Almagro will look to improve their positioning in the Primera Nacional standings when they meet Saturday.

The match is scheduled for Nov. 22, 2025.

Central Cordoba (2-6-4) enters the contest following a 1-1 home draw with Banfield on Nov. 16. The Santiago del Estero-based side has been difficult to beat lately, losing just once in its last seven matches across all competitions. That run includes a 3-1 victory over Union and a 2-2 draw with powerhouse Boca Juniors. However, finding the net has been a recent challenge, with the club scoring just one total goal in its last three outings, all draws.

Visiting Almagro (4-5-3) is also coming off a draw, having played Sarmiento to a 1-1 stalemate at home on Nov. 15. The team has shown resilience on the road this season, earning a 2-1 win at Atletico Tucuman and a 1-1 draw at Independiente. Almagro’s form has been inconsistent, however, with a 2-0 loss to San Martin de San Juan preceding its current two-match unbeaten streak.

According to the Interstat game simulator, the match is projected to end in a 1-1 draw. The result would extend both teams’ recent runs of draws and keep them in the middle of the table as the Argentine second division season continues.
