SANTIAGO, Chile (Dec. 1, 2025) (Interstat) — Audax Italiano defeated Ñublense 1-0 on Monday in a Chilean Primera División match at Estadio Bicentenario Municipal de La Florida. Forward Eduardo Vargas scored the game’s only goal just one minute into the contest, converting an assist from substitute Pablo Calderón. The match was marred by discipline, featuring eight yellow cards and a red card issued to Ñublense’s Martín Jiménez in the 75th minute. Audax Italiano begins its league season with a win, while Ñublense starts with a loss. The result exceeded a statistical projection that favored the home side.
