REUS, Spain (Interstat) — Real Sociedad earned a 2-0 road victory over Reus FC Reddis in a Copa del Rey Juvenil match Wednesday at Estadio Camp Nou Municipal.

Substitute Mikel Goti opened the scoring in the 49th minute. Fellow substitute Sadiq Umar, who assisted on the first goal, added a second in the 86th to secure the win. Defenders Pol Fernández and Pablo Marín each recorded assists for the visitors.

The result defied a pregame projection that favored the home side. Real Sociedad’s defense held firm despite yellow cards shown to Marín and Fernández.
