MADRID (Interstat) — A place in the next round of Spain’s Copa del Rey Juvenil is on the line Tuesday when Numancia hosts Mallorca’s under-19 squad.

The youth sides will meet on Dec. 2, 2025, with the hosts looking to continue a positive run of form. Numancia heads into the match following a convincing 3-0 victory over Getxo on Oct. 29.

Mallorca’s youth team, however, seeks to rebound from a difficult stretch. The visitors are coming off a 2-2 home draw with Osasuna on Nov. 29, a result that extended their winless run to three matches across all competitions. Their recent form has been inconsistent, with a 1-2 loss at Villarreal on Nov. 22 preceding the draw. Their last victory was a 1-0 result against Getafe on Nov. 9.

According to the Interstat game simulator, Numancia is projected to secure a narrow 1-0 victory in the cup fixture.

Following the cup tie, Mallorca’s senior team faces a congested La Liga schedule, with matches against Real Oviedo, Elche and Valencia in quick succession. The youth team’s performance could provide a boost for the club during a critical period.
