BUENOS AIRES, Argentina (Interstat) — A pivotal Cordoba derby is set for Sunday as Instituto AC Cordoba hosts crosstown rival CA Talleres in a Primera Nacional clash.

Both clubs enter the match with nearly identical and middling records in the domestic competition. Talleres sits at 5-6-5, while Instituto is just behind at 4-7-5. Their overall form across all tournaments is also similarly inconsistent.

The visitors from Talleres, however, carry positive momentum from a recent 1-0 victory over Platense on Nov. 8, part of a run that has seen them lose just once in their last five outings.

Instituto, meanwhile, looks to rebound from a disappointing 2-1 loss to Sarmiento on Nov. 9. Their home form has been a particular struggle, with just one win in their last five matches at their stadium.
