NETANYA, Israel (Interstat) — MK Maccabi Herzliya delivered a dominant performance Friday, defeating Kfar Saba 1928 4-1 in a State Cup Women’s match at Winner Stadium. The result defied a pregame projection that favored Kfar Saba. Tomer Barzilai led the home side with a hat trick, scoring in the eighth, 65th and 67th minutes. Ofek Mishan added a goal in the 61st minute for Herzliya, which improved its tournament record to 1-0. Kfar Saba, which scored its lone goal in the second half, fell to 0-1 in cup play. The visiting side was given a 63.6 percent probability to win by one statistical model, but Herzliya controlled the match after the opening goal.
