QUITO, Ecuador (Interstat) — Substitute Djorkaeff Reasco scored a second-half hat trick to rally Aucas to a 3-3 draw with El Nacional in a Liga Pro match on Saturday at Estadio Gonzalo Pozo Ripalda.

El Nacional’s Brian Montenegro scored twice in a five-minute span late in the first half, but Reasco answered with three goals after entering the match, completing his hat trick in the 82nd minute to salvage the result. Bruno Miranda had opened the scoring for the visitors. The match defied a pregame projection that heavily favored Aucas to win. Both clubs are now 0-0-1 in the domestic league season.
