GAINSBOROUGH, England (Interstat) — Gainsborough Trinity FC, riding a perfect start in the FA Trophy, will host neighboring Alfreton Town FC in a first-round matchup on Saturday.

The Blues enter the contest with a 2-0-0 record in the competition and a 3-1-1 mark across all competitions this season. Their cup run includes a 3-1 away victory over Hartlepool United last month. However, they are looking to rebound from a 2-1 home defeat to Accrington Stanley in their most recent outing on Nov. 2.

Alfreton Town, which has yet to play an FA Trophy match this season, brings a 2-2-1 overall record into the derby. Their form has been inconsistent, highlighted by a 6-0 road loss to Buxton FC on Oct. 25. But they arrive with momentum after a 2-1 home win over Spennymoor Town on Tuesday.

The statistical firm Interstat projects a one-sided affair, simulating a 3-0 victory for the home side. The match kicks off at 3 p.m. local time at the Northolme.
