QUITO, Ecuador (Interstat) — CA Vi defeated Manta 2-0 on Sunday in a Liga Pro match at Estadio Olímpico Atahualpa, with both goals coming in the final 10 minutes of regulation and stoppage time.

Forward Edison Hernández was instrumental in the win, scoring a goal and adding an assist. He set up Rafael Monti’s breakthrough goal in the 80th minute before sealing the victory with a goal of his own in the sixth minute of second-half stoppage time.
