Preview: Adelaide United vs. Macarthur FC in A-League Clash

ADELAIDE, Australia (Interstat) — A resurgent Adelaide United will look to avenge an early-season loss when it hosts the unpredictable Macarthur FC in an A-League match on Friday, Jan. 30, 2026.

The Reds enter the contest at Coopers Stadium on a three-match winning streak across all competitions, including a 1-0 victory over the Newcastle Jets last Sunday. Their form marks a stark turnaround from a 4-0 loss to the Central Coast Mariners earlier this month.

Macarthur, meanwhile, is coming off a chaotic 3-2 defeat to lower-league side Magpies Crusaders in the Australia Cup last Saturday. That result typified a turbulent season for the Bulls, who have shown both explosive offense and defensive fragility. Their recent run includes a 6-2 rout of Melbourne City and a 5-4 win over Newcastle, but also a 3-0 loss to Sydney FC.
