Falkirk Routs Kilmarnock in 5‑1 Premiership Victory
FALKIRK, Scotland (Interstat) — Falkirk delivered a dominant performance Saturday, routing Kilmarnock 5-1 in Scottish Premiership play at Falkirk Stadium.
The hosts scored early and often, with Ethan Brown opening the scoring just a minute into the match. Dylan Tait and Barney Stewart then netted to build a 3-0 lead by the 36th minute. Substitute Greg Kiltie added a fourth before Stewart secured his brace. Tait scored again in the 56th minute to complete the rout.
Kilmarnock, which has only three league wins this season, managed a lone goal. The match was marred by five yellow cards, three issued to Falkirk players. The result extends Falkirk’s unbeaten run against Kilmarnock this season, having won both league meetings.
