Hibernian Dominates Falkirk in Scottish Premiership Season Opener
EDINBURGH, Scotland (Dec. 6, 2025) (Interstat) — Hibernian opened its Scottish Premiership campaign with a commanding 3-0 victory over Falkirk FC at Easter Road Stadium on Saturday.
Midfielder Kieron Bowie led the hosts with two goals and an assist. His strikes in the 41st and 80th minutes bookended the scoring, with forward Martin Boyle adding the other goal. Four Hibernian substitutes recorded assists in the match.
The result defied a pregame projection from Interstat, whose simulator had forecast a 1-1 draw despite also giving Hibernian a 94.5% probability to win. The match was a physical affair, with five yellow cards issued, including one to Bowie.
Hibernian begins the league season with a win, while Falkirk starts with a loss.
