STENHOUSEMUIR, Scotland (Feb. 14, 2026) (Interstat) — Substitute Callum Sandilands scored twice, including a late equalizer, to secure a 2-2 draw for Montrose against Stenhousemuir in the Scottish League One opener for both clubs Saturday at Ochilview Park.

Andrew Steeves put Montrose ahead in the 15th minute before Stenhousemuir responded with goals from Findlay Gray and Sandilands’ first to take a 2-1 lead. Sandilands struck again in the 83rd minute to split the points. The result defied pre-match projections that heavily favored the home side. Each team received one yellow card in the second half. Both sides begin the league campaign with identical records.
