MADRID (Interstat) — Real Zaragoza delivered a 3-1 upset victory over UD Mutilvera on Wednesday in the Copa del Rey Juvenil, defying statistical projections that heavily favored the home side. The match at Estadio Mutilnova saw early goals from Adrián Roncal and Juan Sebastian Serrano, giving the visitors a commanding lead by the 25th minute. UD Mutilvera’s Kenan Kodro scored in the 78th minute, but the comeback effort fell short. The result was a surprise as Interstat’s ELO system had given Mutilvera an 81.9 percent probability to win. Real Zaragoza begins its tournament run at 1-0, while Mutilvera starts 0-1.
