MADRID (Interstat) — A Copa del Rey Juvenil fixture on Wednesday pits a budding youth side from a small Navarrese club against the prestigious academy of a Spanish football giant when UD Mutilvera hosts Real Zaragoza.

The match, scheduled for Oct. 29, 2025, is the opening game of the domestic cup competition for both clubs’ under-19 teams. Each side enters the tournament with a record of 0-0 in the Copa del Rey Juvenil. Their overall season records across all competitions are also unblemished, standing at 0-0.

The home side, Mutilvera, carries recent competitive experience into the match, having fallen 3-1 to Real Union in a league match on Sept. 21. Real Zaragoza’s youth squad has no recent recorded result, making their current form a mystery.

Despite the clubs’ divergent histories and statures, a statistical projection from Interstat anticipates a tightly contested affair. The game simulator forecasts a narrow 1-0 victory for the visiting Real Zaragoza.

The matchup represents a classic cup challenge, pitting Mutilvera’s home-field advantage against the technical pedigree expected from Zaragoza’s famed youth system. The result will see one team advance to the next round while the other sees its cup campaign end prematurely.
