WOLVERHAMPTON, England (Interstat) — Wolverhampton and Burnley, two clubs seeking their first Premier League victory of the young season, will face off Sunday at Molineux Stadium.

The match, scheduled for Oct. 26, 2025, is the first for both sides in England’s top flight this campaign, with each holding an 0-0 record in league play. Their overall records across all competitions also stand at 0-0.

Wolverhampton enters the contest following a 2-0 defeat at Sunderland on Oct. 18. Burnley, meanwhile, is looking to rebound from a 3-2 home loss to Middlesbrough’s under-18 side just one day prior, on Oct. 25.

Despite the recent results, statistical models suggest a closely contested match. Interstat’s ELO rating system gives Wolverhampton a slight edge with a 51.40 percent probability to win. The same organization’s game simulator, however, predicts a 1-1 draw.

The matchup presents an early opportunity for either side to gain crucial points and build momentum as the 2025-26 Premier League season gets underway.
