GIBRALTAR (Interstat) — Montenegro rallied to defeat Gibraltar 2-1 in a World Cup qualifier on Friday after the hosts took an early lead at Europa Point Stadium. Gibraltar’s Liam Jessop opened the scoring in the 20th minute, but Vasilije Adžić equalized for Montenegro 13 minutes later. The visitors secured the comeback victory with a second-half goal. The result improves Montenegro’s record in the competition to 3-1, while Gibraltar remains winless at 0-6.
