BRENTWOOD, England (Interstat) — Brentwood Town opened its FA Trophy campaign with a commanding 3-0 victory over Welling Utd at The Brentwood Centre Arena on Saturday. Daniel Ogunleye put the home side ahead in the 15th minute. Benas Vaivada then scored twice, finding the net in the 33rd and 51st minutes to secure the win. The result easily surpassed the projection from Interstat’s game simulator, which had forecast a 2-1 Brentwood victory. The firm’s ELO system had given Brentwood Town a 69.40 percent probability to win. Both teams were playing their first match in the competition this season.
