MALMÖ, Sweden (Interstat) — Malmo FF opened its Damallsvenskan season with a 3-1 victory over Vittsjo GIK on Sunday at Eleda Stadion. Katariina Kosola and Moa Ohman scored in the opening three minutes for a rapid lead. Nathalie Persson added a second-half goal for Malmo. The match was marred by two red cards, shown to Vittsjo GIK’s Ellen Löfqvist and Lisa Klinga in the first half. Julia Tunturi, who received a yellow card, recorded an assist in the win.
