MADRID (Interstat) — Eibar delivered a stunning 4-2 upset victory over Naxara on Wednesday in a Copa del Rey Juvenil match at Estadio Municipal Luis de La Fuente. The visiting side, which entered as a significant underdog, defied a pregame projection that gave Naxara a 72 percent probability to win.

Substitute Jon Bautista led Eibar with a goal and an assist. Teammates Javi Martón, Víctor Martínez, and Iñigo Ochoa also scored. The result gives Eibar a win in its opening match of the Spanish youth competition, while Naxara begins its campaign with a loss. Jon Bautista received a yellow card in the 68th minute.
